Hello, I have a 2012 C300 that has the HID Xenon replacement bulbs that are not working. Both bulbs appear to be okay. All other lights are working with no issues. Car display shows that both the left and right low beams are inactive. I keep reading about a ballast that supports the HID replacement bulbs. The Adaptive Bi-Xenon headlamps were introduced for the 2014 model year, and discontinued (for unknown reasons) at the end of the 2015 model year. They will most like reappear on future models of the Grand Cherokee. The adaptive forward lighting headlamps adjust up to 15 degrees to help illuminate the road around corners at night. Xenon lighting systems function because of two lamps – one works in low-beam mode, and the second turns on when the high beam is activated. Bi-xenon technology suggests two modes of illumination in one bulb. Switching is due to a magnetic curtain changing the geometry of the beam. "Bi-xenon" means the xenon lamp is used for both low beams and high beams. Pulling back on the stalk activates the inner halogen high beams which are in a non-projector style bowl instead of a projector housing with a lens. This is feature is to temporarily flash high beams, aka "flash to pass." Xenon (Optional on pre-facelift cars only): The high beam flash is xenon, not halogen. The inner light is only VERY dim and is part of the normal Daytime Running Light function along with the corona rings. One more thing, do you have the corona rings working correctly? High beam headlights too weak and high!!! When driving in the night and outside heavy traffic (where I would use low beam Xeonons, anyway), I am very badly disappointed with how poor high beam lights are in my F10. In my old good E46, I also had bi-Xenons but in the inner tubes, high beam halogens were also mounted, so changing from low to high Ford Edge with Factory Halogen Headlights / with Factory HID/Xenon Headlights 2013, HP24 LED Bulbs by Diode Dynamics®. 410lm, 6.48W, 9-16V, 6000K. This product is made of high-quality materials to serve you for years to come. This $35.00 - $140.00. The high beam *IS* the Xenon lower beam, with a mirror/flap that changes the focal elements in the projector housing. There are no halogen high beams. To the OP; sorry, but my 335d's high beams are excellent; better than the halogen ones in my '01 330xi (which weren't bi-xenon, so I got both the xenon low beam and the halogen high beam when on umARcCq.
